The Peaceful SLEEP Red Light Lamp gives you a portable source of blue-light-free red lighting that fits in the palm of your hand. Rechargeable, lightweight, and made without any glass components, it’s designed to go where standard lamps can’t.
Three brightness levels (25%, 50%, 100%) lets you set the lamp for night-time wake-ups, evening reading, or general bedside use without flooding the room with overstimulating light. The lamp charges via USB Type-C (cable supplied) and runs up to 18 hours on a full charge at lowest brightness, or around 4 hours at full brightness. ABS+PC construction means no glass – safer for children’s bedrooms and easier to travel with.
Q. Are all SLEEP Red light lamps the same?
A. No. The majority of “red” or coloured lamps still contain blue or green light, particularly tinted, coated, or smart lamps with adjustable colour modes. Our Peaceful Red Light Lamp emits red light only, with no blue or green wavelengths at all.

Travel, Hospitals, and Care Settings
One of the most common uses for this lamp – and one of the reasons we made it portable – is for environments you don’t control. Hospital wards, hotel rooms, holiday lets, and respite care all run on whatever lighting the room comes with. The Peaceful SLEEP Red Light Lamp travels in a bag, recharges from USB-C (provided), and creates a small zone of blue-light-free lighting wherever you are.
Sleep Difficulties
Many of our customers come to us simply because they’re not sleeping well and have realised their evening lighting is part of the problem. Standard household lighting contains approximately 25-35% blue light, which suppresses melatonin and signals daytime to the brain. Harvard Medical School specifically recommends “dim red lights for night lights” because red light is far less likely to suppress melatonin or shift the body clock.
Families using Melatonin
Many of our customers are families whose child, or parent has been prescribed melatonin. What the prescription doesn’t come with is a conversation about lighting homes in the evening, as evening light is one of the main factors working against melatonin, both the medicine and the body’s own production.

CHIRYŌ Light Therapy Peaceful Red Light vs Sunset Amber Light
Both SLEEP Red and RELAX Amber remove 100% blue light from your evening lighting making it safer for your brain and eyes. The difference is how late you use them.
- RELAX Sunset Amber is lighter in colour than Peaceful Red, therefore people find it easier to replace their general household lighting when needing illumination. Most people use it across the home from late afternoon onwards, in living rooms, kitchens, and utility rooms. A comfortable first step away from white light.
- SLEEP Peaceful Red goes further by removing green light as well as blue, leaving a Peaceful Red glow that the brain reads most clearly as night. Typically chosen for the last part of the evening: bedrooms, nurseries, hallways, bedtime reading, mood-lighting, and night-time wake-ups.
